I just installed Windows Vista Ultimate version on my W3J and have been having some problems. I installed all the drivers but the audio does not seem to work. Anyone have any suggestions?
Also it seems as though some of the applications, I can't click on certain things. For example, I can't click on the "Submit New Thread"

uh u could get vista to work on ur w3j?!
when i load up in startup.. and it says to press a button.. i press and it reboots.
i read somewhere also in the thread that w3j bios isnt exactly compatible with vista.
so.. maybe thats why? -
If you have Net4Switch, uninstall it first. If that doesn't fix it, then uninstall P4G also
What soundcard does the W3J use? SoundMAX?
This should work http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/W2P/Audio_vista_070117.zip -
Just install the XP sound drivers...that should fix the problem!

So much for the "Windows Vista Capable" sticker.
Hehe seriously though, hopefully everything will get sorted out soon. I'm sure people are having little problems here and there with all sorts of systems...desktops included.
XP was pretty flaky when it was released, drivers etc... -
wait. how did u guys get vista on yours?
my cd doesnt load up. ask me to presss a button to install but it freezes and then it keeps restarting. -
Check if you have the latest W3J BIOS...

so far everything seems to be ok.
regarding the sound, dont trust the drivers from vista. i had to uninstall the drivers and install the ones from the CD that came with it. also p4g is a bad idea to install.
everything is going great so far. only problem is i cant undervolt it
oh btw i have the bill gates edition of vista *cough*cracked*cough* -
It wont work for long... *cough*WGA*cough*
