I screwed up my G1S Vista install. Is there a way to get access to Vista's recovery console off of the G1S recovery CD. I can only get the option to format and go back to the factory install. I tried pressing F8 on boot and doing last known good configuration as well as safe mode but no luck. When Vista boots I just get a black screen rather then the Vista log in. I can see my mouse cursor but that's it.

Want to recover some photos off my drive so don't want to format. Don't have access to another PC. Any suggestions? And I did post in the Windows section but not sure if the Asus recovery CD will effect anything.

    Thanks.
