    Vista W3J and Card reader issues

    So I see others had issues with getting the card reader to work on their W#Js with Vista. It looks like it IS a conflict with the drive bay. When I remove the optical drive and reboot, the card reader works fine. If I then add the optical they both show up. On reboot again just the optical :/ anyone have a fix for this?

    *****Update******
    SOLVED : I just inserted an SD card and opened device manager. I then chose to uninstall the SD card driver and now all is well.

    I was having trouble getting my card reader to show up in Vista (and XP before that). I finally did get it to show, but now the Optical drive isn't recognized. There is a 'problem' showing on the MMC Card device, so I'll try disabling that when I get home (don't have the lt with me now) and see if it helps. I could care less about the MMC reader working, but I'd like to use the SD slot.

    Deus, when you uninstalled the SD Card driver, did Vista re-install it? Are both devices now working?
