Updated my asus to vista but for some reason it won't find my ATI X1700. When I try to install the catalyst drivers (Vista32_64_V833) they say they cannot find any installable components.

Anyone know what I should do?

I just downloaded the desktop driver from ATI's website. It worked perfectly with my A8JP's x1700 in Vista.

I had the same problem, when I tried to update the driver with the one on ASUS's website, it kept giving me an error like "no compatible hardware found" or something. I was going to try the ModTool from DriverHeaven.net ( http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/) but I ended up not even needing to mod the 7.5 release. It was nice.

Does anyone have a definite answer to making the drivers fully compatible? I can't believe ATI still hasn't given this product its full support.
