I have an Asus N20A laptop with a sim card slot behind the battery. I have mobile broadband with Vodafone which works fine with the USB dongle plugged in. But for convenience I would prefer to have the sim card in the laptop. But neither the Vodafone software nor 3G watcher that comes with the Laptop see the sim card. What do I need to install to make this work ? Neither Asus or Vodafone are helping !

    Any help appreciated.

Try and reinstall the 3G watcher software and/or driver for your sim card reader from your drivers disk.
