    Volume hot keys dont work???

    Hi guys i just bought an Asus N53SV. At the start everything is just fine. However after i uninstalled the trial flash games and restarted it, the volume keys do not work. Other FN keys work just fine except those. I am sure that i did not uninstall any ATK drivers or other drivers. I recovered a few times because of this problem. Please help!! Really urgent... :mad:

    Did you try reinstalling the ATK drivers from the recovery disc or the ASUS support website? I've seen issues like this resolved with a simple reinstall of those drivers.

    So i have to uninstall ATK hotkey driver first then reinstall it? Should it be ATK hotkey or ATK media because other hotkeys still working fine? :confused: Its kinda annoying to fix this problem as its a brand new laptop and brand new recovery as well. :mad:
    new laptop and the factory install is screwed up :(

    Well, since it was probably working fine when you got it, it seems the system restore didn't happen correctly. Probably a pebkac error, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    Thanks guys it works :) i reinstall the atk package n it works well.. Actually ive done it before but through the disc but it didnt work. I think they all come error :))
