The C90S works with the E4500? As far as I know it only works with the generation before the E4500 like the E4300, E6300, E6320, E6400, E6420, E6600, E7600 and the X6800.

why would u get an asus c90s if the speed is the same or even slower as a normal laptop? i mean the only reason i got it is because no santa rosa notebook or any notebook will be as fast as this. but with a e4500 or any of the slower ones, i dont get why u would get it. cuz why not get a laptop with a much much better battery life, same video card - or even batter one for that matter with gddr3

i guess the video card being upgradable is good but everything else, is upgradable just like any other laptop, cpu, ram, hard drive, etc.

Because the E6320 is discountinued in Canada, the E6420 is $225 and the E6600 is $ 260. The E4500 was $150. And just to make me angry, the E6750 is $215 but damn c90's chipset =/

Other than that, HPs, Toshibas and Lenovos aren't customisable in Canada. The HD 2600 toshiba A200 is 1799 with a T5xxx. The HP 8150p is $1600 with 1GB RAM and the G1S/V1S are 1999.99

A 3.4ghz E4xxx performs better than the X6800 so theorically, the e4500 should be about the e6320 at stock speed and 20% OC will pump me up to 2.66 so it's not that bad

If it's that bad, I'll just get a E4600 next year, wich is the Penryn rerelease of the E6600
