Someone on the german W1 forum posted pictures from CeBit
    http://service.gmx.net/mc/vYONrxCdsjMCyKMJ7p2DfpPgW1cQpQ
and one of them has the specs of W1000G, and the specs say that G series has Color Shine and Cristal Shine LCD.
On the Asus.de page, they have specs for W1000GC, that don't mention Color/cristal Shine LCD. So are the GC and G different models, if so does anyone know when G series will be available?

    Here's the picture with specs:

We're not going to get the W1G....... we're going to get the next generation W1v (I'm 99% positive that is the designation).

It'll be sonoma based, just like the W3/W5/W2.... all will have the glaretype screen..... The unit will have a digital tv tuner like the one below...

Give it a month or so before they come in.

    Thanks,
    Justin

I'm from Europe so I'm more interested in what will be available here than in states :) but I do apreciate your contribution anyway.

I really hope this version with bettrer screen and "old" chipset gets released in europe, because Sonoma is not good for music production because of PCI-express graphic cards, that cause a lot of problems.

I know we have European members here... but it does help if you put this by your name.... otherwise, this is a US site...... The new revision should be the W1v... The Gc was the newest I've heard of to date that would be coming out in Europe....

    Thanks,
