    W1J or V1J in UK/Europe

    Does anyone know when these notebooks will become available in the UK? I've just read that the W1J has been released in Germany but what about the rest of Europe? And has there been any indication of price?

    Just to make sure: both are 15.4 inch and sport x1600's. What's the difference? One looks hotter and is made of metal and the other is plastic? :confused:

    they're both made out of magensium alloy i think, so it should be similar, but maybe the texture of it different, i know the W1J is brushed with magnesium alloy, the V1J might be covered with it completely. In my opinion W1J gets a nicer look with the brush marks.

    Thanks a lot! Wow! That is a work of art! I might sell my W3J when this comes out :p It seems it lacks the V1J's camera and fingerprint reader but has an in-bulit TV tuner(not sure if the V1J has that), I wonder how much it weighs and if the screen is IPS?

    It weighs 6.2lbs~ or so, which is why it never came to N.A., it was too similiar to the W2.

    It's heavy, just 0.2kg lighter than his brother, the W2J. But from the outside, it looks great! Just a pity that it doesnt hav slot loadin drive(i m still complainin bout it.. haha, hope when it's equiped wif merom, the slot loader comes along 2)
