    Hey

I am interested in getting the W1N, as it is basically a powerbook with windows!
However, I am hearing that a W2N will be released soon, fixing all of the shortcomings of the beautiful W1N
    - Radeon 9700
    - Longer Battery
    - Functioning TV tuner

Does anyone have any more info on this?
Btw - is the W1N a solid feeling laptop - is it equivalent to a powerbook in quality?

There has been a bit of rumour about a W2N, but this is to date unfounded gossip. Will ASUS update the GPU soon?? I don't think they will....maybe around Xmas possibly, but if you look at the what the competition is putting out, ie toshi, sony, HP. The 9600 is very competitive, and more than sufficient for home multimedia app's which is what this notebook is targetted at.
Also I'm guessing they may want to keep some difference betw. their different models, ie M6Ne.

As for the feel of the notebook, I had a play with one in store a few weeks ago, and it seemed well built and solid. Very minimalist, and the closest thing to an apple out there. But I'm still gonna have to say that the powerbooks are better looking/built although the screen(WSXGA) on the W1N was very nice.
