Ok I've just received my laptop back from repair. It had a new mainboard, that was all.

Now the backslash key and the hash key both make high pitched beeps when i press them, anyone know what might cause this as I really do not want to send it back again.

Also when I turn my laptop on the NumLk activates itself so I have to turn that off everytime too!! Whats going on??

Please help, my laptop has been back for repair twice in the last 4 months and each time i lose it for 3-4 weeks and I really don't want to send it back!!!

Ok have spoken to Asus and they tell me it is a BIOS Problem and that I need to update the BIOS. Does anyone know where I can get a newer version than 300 as the support team has forgotten to send me the link as they were supposed to!!

Does Asus have drivers for the keyboard? It's like it is a foreign keyboard and those buttons have no use but its all set to the right region!
