The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hey guys....

    this new comp is acting up again.....

    ok, so, after i started using a wireless mouse (non-bluetooth) on the w2jb -- the hotkey button which turns the touchpad on and off no longer works....

    i have re-installed the atk driver and utility to no avail.....

    any input? so now, i have a mouse which is just plain on all the time.....kind of sucks!

    Did you install somekind of software suite that came with the mouse? if so uninstall it then reinstall the atk driver and restart. also have you updated the intel pro wireless drivers to the ones from the intel website. if so that will screw up the ATK driver.
