Just got back from a trip (scuba diving in the Virgin Islands :) ). I used a Kensington Power 120 for my Asus W2P....The adapter worked fine when running off wall power (110v), but the airline power seat adapter could not power the laptop....I tried 2 seat power sockets....When I plugged in, I got the screen display for AC power, but within a few seconds the screen display flashed back to battery power.....I wiggled the tip in the socket of the laptop & the seat outlet...it didn't appear to be a contact issue

I found that if I put the W2P into sleep mode, then the charging indicator light would come on....as soon as I resumed from sleep it would go out.....For some reason the Kensington doesn't seem to be able to produce enough juice from an airline power outlet.....has anyone else had similar problems (I used N3 tip)....Most posts regarding Kensington seem to revolve around G1/G2 laptops...do those notebooks require less watts than a W2P
    Thanks

basing this off my experience trying to power my 15in sager on an airplane, i don't think the plane outlet supplies enough power to power the 17 inch W2P.
