Title says it all: does anyone know if the W2P will be released without the HD-DVD bay anytime in the near future?

The WSXGA+ version doesn't have it, but I assume you know that, so no, the WUXGA+ will have the HD-DVD drive only.

The WUXGA model is the only one with HD-DVD..... the only one without is the WSXGA+ model which has the 8x Super Multi DVD Burner... for the price, it's a better system to get anyway unless you NEED WUXGA.
