I am new to these forums, but I have been hanging out here reading the posts for last couple of weeks, and know one has yet asked if it is at all possible to upgrade the w2v at proportable? I like the specs, but is it possible to say upgrade to 2Gb, and change the hard drive to 7200-60gb? I don't mind spending the extra money for such a great notebook. I know of one site that would do this for these w2v, but I was wondering if Proportable does the same? If I was to do it myself I would viod the warranty, rigth? Thanks in advance to any insite.

Upgrade yes....... buy it with a different configuration, no. We won't change the configuration because it instantly voids your warranty with Asus.
