On the issue of the bad quality sound from headphones connected to the W2V I've noticed that I was having to fiddle with my headphone connection quite a bit to get it working. In the end I was using it with a 1/2mm or so gap between the plug and the socket. Then tonight I pushed it in a little harder and it started working in stereo when plugged all the way in and the sound is MUCH better. Not sure if this the same reason others are having problems but it seems on mine after plugging it in properly once it now works fine all the time. Maybe the socket just needed bedding in or something.

Right now the ones that came with my iPod. They're total crap but they were lying next to me tonight when I wanted to plug some in
I've also had the same issues with the included Asus ones too. Actually there's still some sound issues even now. Lots of background noise etc when playing GTA among other things.
