    hi

does anybody know something about the screen brighjtness of the W2 model?
i was not able to find anything about it on the net (the only review i found measured only 99nits which seems far to low to me.) What about the heat and fan noise, any information?
what do you say about the LG LW70 compared to the W2V?

    thx

Asus never gives out the exact brightness, contrast and viewing angles of their systems....... but from what I saw of the W2's screen the brightness seems on par with the W3 and W5....... most people thing those unit have some of the highest brightness levels seen on a laptop..... Was this a pre-production or production W2? I take it that it was reviewed somewhere in Europe? What is the WSXGA or WSXGA+ model? Did it have a mattetype display or a colorshine (glaretype) display?

(the only review i've found so far)
    on page 2
99 candela not nits (i think it's not the same but they don't seem to be very impressed anyway....)
i think the w2v is a great peace of hardware but i need some exact information about the screen and heat/fan loudness which are very important for me. unfortunately no retailer in my neigbourhood (germany) already has the new w2v in his store.....

Well keep in touch here and as soon as they work out the US tv tuner bugs... we'll have them and a lot more people on this forum will have them in hand as well.
