    Hello,

I have an Asus W2U-VB laptop. Opened the underside lid but found only one 512mb module.

Could you please tell me where is the other module please?
Read that it is under the keyboard....Which screw shall I unscrew?

    thanks for your help!

I don't know if they're marked with "K>" on the W2, but if you look at the notebook from the underside, they're basically under the "d" and "k" keys of the keyboard... so if you can try to trace that back to the underside, you'll find them.... it won't hurt to take out more than just those two if you can't located them, but if you look at the center (both length wise and width wise), the screws about 2-2.5" to the left and to the right...

Oh yeah.... take out the battery... there are probably 5 tiny screws under there and if you remove those, the black over above the keyboard will pop off, and then the keyboard just slides out. I think I actually misspoke when I mentioned those keyboard screws before... The W1 and W2 have a different set up than the rest....... when 50+ models I've had did it one way... then 2 are different, it's sometimes hard to remember that.

    ohhhh that's better now!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see the 5 thin screws under the battery compartement. I was wondering where the hack the K screws and/or 2 screws and the "d" and "k" keys of the keyboard....

I will try to do it tomorrow...
    thanks for the info...

W1 and W2 useres please take note!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found the second memory module under the keyboard!!! (and found also a lot of dirt and fluff particles   ) It was worth it opening the upper side of the lappy!!!

Can any one tell me what is the other card on the left of the memory module. Its either the tv tuner card or network/modem card cause its near the jacks compartment...Which is it?

Thanks a lot for all your posts!!!
Now I know much more my adorable lappy :D

Depends on which one you're talking about.. the wireless card has two attached antenna cables... the tv tuner has one.
