    both nice 17" laptops. but i cant decide which would be better? please help me out here. thanks

    Really comes down to a question of style over price. ie how much are u prepared to pay for looks?
    If you can handle the cost difference then the W2 is a very nice machine that will get lots of envyous looks from your friends.

    Yes, well besides weight and looks, there's also the fact that the A7 (or Z83) is not brushed aluminum and has a lower res screen (WXGA+). The A7 is also customizable for your needs. Comes with 1 year warranty and the W2V with 2 year global.

    W2v's have been dropped down to a 1 year warranty as of last months' shipment. But considering dealer verses global warranty is still a big deal.
