Too bad this beauty doesn't offer the 6800 Go or Mobility X800.

A very nice notebook indeed... great desktop replacement. I still think its footprint makes it unfit for everyday travel...
good for LAN parties, though. -

Then you might like some of the .psd flyers that they made up....

The W2 is seriously better looking than I had ever thought a 17" could be. And only 3.3Kg to boot. Even the S.O. would have loved that one, and she'd have killed me if I brought home a XPS^2Gen. Looking forward to getting my hands on one for more than 3 minutes.

As much as a lot of people thought the W1 gave the 15" powerbook a run for it's money.... I don't think the 17" powerbook has even a leg to stand on against the W2.... the only thing they can say is the powerbook is lighter... and we can say it's got a digital tv tuner, remote control, subwoofer, a 128mb x700 and a colorshine screen.

I would buy one if they were a little cheaper, 3000 dollar is much!

I don't think its even close. but no need to turn this into this looks better than that thread...but i question whether you've really "seen" the notebook ...im talking close up pictures...every angle of it....all its sleek lines... how thin it is...the alluminum everywhere.
not sure you can deny the thing style and design if you've done that. its based on the w1 ...that one won style awards...this one is going to easily do the same. -
