    Hey,

I am thinking of getting a 17 inch normal ratio lcd monitor to use whilst at home.

Will the W3 have any problems connecting to such a screen in terms of resolution, screen size, width or whatever?

    Thanks

No, not at all....... in fact I believe you can go up past UXGA and WUXGA.... although I haven't found anyone who needed more than that.. but I think you can go at least one step higher.

    Thanks,

I can do 1920 x 1200 on my 23" widescreen, but if I had say a 21" regular ratio crt, it would still do it at UXGA..

    Thanks,

W3 should not have a problem with 17" LCD (which has a native resolution at 1280x1024). Well, my V6 can power a 19" monitor (1280x1024) without any problem at all and V6 has the same GPU setup as W3. The thing is that you might have some shuffling of desktop icons - just like what happens when you switch resolution, but that's really minor.
