I tried to restore my comp, but after I insert the restore CD it prompted that there was a BootSector Write!! VIRUS: Continue Y/N?

Is there something wrong? Can I continue without killing my machine?

    Thanks for the help.

go to your BIOS, there'll be an option to turn on or off virus protection. You need to turn it OFF for OS installation.

    just turn it ON later.

installing new OS requires writing boot sectors.
