    Hey guys!

I just installed Bf2 on my W3J and Im having problems with getting the mic to work. I know theres no problem with my mic or sound card because they work perfectly with all the other programs.

You know that VOIP setup program the comes up when you finsh installing BF2? With that meter that moves up and down when you talk into the mic? Well, Theres no meter there for me and everytime I push save settings on that program, I get a error and it crashes.
Thus when I get into the game, my mic wont work. It wont even detect my mic in the audio options tab.

Some compatibily issues with the Soundmax HD card? Or is it just me getting that problem?

BF2's built-in VoIP prog is pretty buggy so don't be surprised if it won't work with certain soundcards. That said, if you are looking for latest sound drivers for your laptop, go here:
    http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
Then select "Notebook" in "Select Products" drop-down menu, then "W300 series" in "Select Series" menu, then in last menu select your model, W3J.
