I've had my W3j since Nov. 06 and the battery life has pretty much gotten to the point where its not worth trying to use it off the charger (45min-55min on battery saving in power4gear).

I'm trying to decide between going oem or aftermarket. Just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this as the price difference is a good amt. of $.

Here are a couple of the aftermarket one's I have found:

    http://www.laptoptraveller.com/laptop-battery-110-as024-11-0.html

    http://www.battdepot.com/model/asus/w3/las024.aspx

(From what I've read any of the w3 series compatible batteries should work)

and here's the oem at estore.asus.com:

    Thanks

It appears to be cheaper on Ebay :) I am looking to snag one of these batteries for my W3V as well...

W3 replacement batteries are at BTOTech.com, a reputable reseller around here.

They have a 90 day warranty and are guaranteed to fit the W3, as Eddie knows exactly what he's selling (as compared to battery retailers who may sell units that end up "almost" fitting).
