A question about the W3J. IS the W3J loud when you insert a CD or DVD. What I mean is does it make noises, if so how loud? Also is the touchpad comfortable and accurate. Thank you. :)

there is noise but its not considerable.. i think actually thats the ONLY noise you'll ever hear from the W3J!

Touchpad is great for what I've been using it, only problem I've had is I keep accidentally going to the scroll side of the touchbad.. so in the middle of moving hte mouse i start scrolling but its just a minor thing

I agree with the bijanv regarding the (normal) noise.

The touchpad. Very comfortable and accurate. I have used the A8J and Lamborghini (VX1) touchpads and honestly, I prefer the W3J. The touchpad is a very small factor when choosing a laptop, but here are some details about the ones I tested:

    ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT!

    Lamborghini:
Feels like plastic BUT very responsive and easy to use.

    A8J:
Feels like hard plastic. It felt like my fingers can slip easily. And the buttons is a bit hard to press. Makes like a "kluk" noise when pressing.

    W3J:
Rubber feel, very responsive, easy to use. Gives you more grip and control over touchpad.

The OD will be a tad loud if doing such sessions as burning a full 4.7gb DVD, etc.. But then again, ALL OD's are pretty loud, no matter what.
