I ordered my W3J last week, and just have a quick question about the modular HD kit .. I'm looking for a quick way to connect the HD to a regular PC via USB, without removing it from it's "drawer". I thought perhaps something like this might do the trick, but I'm not sure whether it's compatible with the HD kit connector .. Does anyone know what type of connector links the HD kit and W3J ? Is it SATA ? Here's a pic : HD Kit.

    Cheers !

its not SATA, I would say it is a custom cable, just buy an Argosy HD260 from Amazon (usb2.0 enclosure) they are quick.

I have a travellers draw and a couple of HDD cases, I swap them out regularly and when travelling, because if you use the DVD or second battery the top of the HDD is left vulnerable.
