    Gidday guys

After finally finding and downloading Mobilmeter (and loving it) I am curious to know what sort of power draw everybody is getting when playing a DVD on battery. According to Mobilmeter, with P4G set on "DVD MOVIE" my W3J is drawing between 25 & 30 W using full screen display. The reason I ask is I am thinking about getting an external battery for those long plane flights and this well help me decide what size to get. By the way, I notice Mobilmeter (the version I downloaded anyway) is circa 2004, is there actually a newer version at all?

    Thanks and regards to all

I am not actually sure how much power I draw when watching a DVD movie. When I get my W3J back from Asus, I will check that out and let you know. As far as Mobile Meter, yes, I believe the last version is from 2004. It does not support dual core processors.

I like NHC better, it also tells you how much power you're using.

It doesn't support dual-core? Bugger, it all looked like it was doing it's thing. I might just uninstall it and put NHC on, as I've just saved the latest version of that (about 2 weeks old) on to my memory stick. What do you reckon guys?
