A friend of mine has a W3J which was working just fine until recently. All of a sudden the screen stopped working and we can't get it to even output to an external monitor. It successfully boots into Windows XP, but for the life of me I can not get a picture. It is well beyond its 1 year warranty so sending it to Asus is not the ideal choice. I'm not sure what to do at this point besides open it up and explore, but I'd rather not do that unless it's absolutely necessary or if I know what I'm looking for. Any advice?

    EDIT:
The problem has been fixed. Turns out the video card was not secured completely. I'm not sure how a screw got loose, but it did.
