    hey guys,

I am just wondering what your W3J screen is set at. This is a combination of the splendid modes (normal, soft, vivid, etc) and the brightness/gamma/contrast settings in the x1600 control panel.

I have spent hours trying to configure it just right and can't seem to decide what is good. Everything on default and in normal with a high brightness results in a washed-out looking picture.

If you could post what splendid mode you use (possibly custom stats?) and also what color settings you use on the x1600 that would be great. This is mainly used to browse the web.

Also, I am having problems with my custom settings in the ATI control panel being lost when I press the button to change splendid modes. Can someone tell me how I keep this config always.

You should check that thread out, it has helped so many people.

Also could you show us pictures?

Also what exactly are you doing in which the picture qaulity is not clear and crisps? Movies, games, graphic design, image tweaking, colour correction?

    More info would help :D

    Thanks,

Where exactly do I find the "ATi Colour Control Panel"? I can't find it anywhere even under the Catalyst Control Center.

You can also right click on the ATI icon in the taskbar system tray and bring up the catalyst control center and you will be able to modify your setting that way.

I could load the catalyst control center but I couldn't find where the color settings were; I eventually found it when I changed the view to advanced settings. It seems I'll stick with the default settings for now; I tried fidlling around with the settings for each colour(RGB) but I need to take time to really calibrate it lol.

    Thanks! :D
