Hey guys, I just put Vista Ultimate back on my laptop. For some reason when it goes into screensaver mode, the fan turns off... And then it stays off, even while the computer is getting hotter.

I don't know if anyone else has seen this issue.

Theres no such problem when I was using XP. =X

Have you installed all of the ATK drivers? I know that I have some issues with them, and it might be related to that. Also, I assume that you are using the most current BIOS?

Is this just a plain Windows screen saver? Have you seen how far the computer will go before the fan will turn off, or is it indefinite?

Ok, the fan doesn't rev up when I play a game. Its just stuck at whatever speed it starts at when I turn on the computer =(

I have the newest ATK drivers installed that I got off of the Asus website, and the newest BIOS. =(
