    As current owners of the w3j might have noticed when trying to install the more recent Vista build, it will not install but reboot after "press any key to boot from cd" message.

    This is because the current Asus BIOS does not properly return a value when the TPG BIOS function is being called but instead reboots your laptop. Ami does have a newer BIOS that fixes this, but Asus does not have a working BIOS atm. This problem is known by Microsoft and Asus (verified this). A working BIOS version will surely surface soon on the ASUS site (AMI v02.59).

    For those who are feeling more brave, there is a patched bootloader which does work (got it working on my w3j, it now dualboots Vista/XP ). It's in this dutch forum (can translate if needed);
