I understand that one should try to not charge the batterie of their laptop too often as it will diminish its life so here is my question. If i am charging my batterie, and once its charged, is it then ok to leave it in the computer or should i remove if while im using the AC wall cord?

basically ... is it better to keep the batterie out when using the wall cord unless charging from almost empty and only have the batterie in if im mobile?

when the orange light isn't on..i believe that means the battery is no longer being charged..i normally leave mine in..but its only been a month so far..maybe some of the w3v ppl on here have a better idea if leaving it in is such a bad idea

You don't need to unplug the computer or take the battery out. Once charged, if the compuer is plugged in, there is a circuit to turn battery charging off and keep the computer running on AC. Don't worry so much about your battery, they last better than most people think.

Yes, only for storage. But then you're not going to be able to use your NB on battery :). And keep in mind storing batt fully discharged is not a good thing to do. People have been saying on this forum, though I can't verify the information, that it's best to store a Li-Ion batt at around 43% charge.

In my opinion, the battery is designed to stay inside the notebook. On my old M6BNe, I kept it like this even though 99% of time I used NB on AC power, and after a year it was as new, almost no wear. I just did a full discharge once every few weeks.
