Hi guys, dunno if i'm repeating questions here, but could someone please post some pictures of a W3J or a W3V posing next to something for comparison? like a cd, 12 inch ruler, mouse, stick of gum, anything standard sized to get an idea of scale. Or maybe the way it looks on someone's lap or hands on the keyboard? i'm getting mine real soon and i just want to check the real size of it, since i can't go to a store and check one out myself. thanks

How about these, I put my mates 15.4 inch MBP next to mine as a guide as well.

My best advice is to get a piece of paper or large piece of cardboard and measure out these dimensions 33x24.7x3--3.27cm

Do you have access to a large format printer? I could actually take a photo and in photoshop, make it the full size, you could print it out and hey presto one flat prototype. :D

Your friends MBP lid looks like it getting warped... possibly from the heat on that side?

Ha Ha yeah, it is a very nice chassis, you should see the power indicator on the battery, machined steel and recessed led's it is a very nice touch, but he said the heat was his only issue, it does get seroiusly hot.

Thanks NZwave! those pics are exactly what i wanted.
To answer your other question, i hadi already mapped out the dimensions on paper, but i didn't feel it gave me a true idea of the size though, since my current 15.4" toshiba looked the same size somehow. your pics are perfect, especially since i have the same white microsoft mouse to compare :D
