I find the excessive amounts of stickers to be very annoying (ATI, Splendid, Intel, Bluetooth, Windows, Asus...). I've been hesitant to remove them as I am afraid that if I peel them off it will either mess up the finish or leave some kind of adhesive residue that is impossible to get off. Are these stickers made to be removable?

They should be removed quite easily. If you're really quite worried about leaving residue behind, you could spray a little WD-40 on and it'll take it right off.
Just peel carefully and it'll be fine.

no, it won't mess up the finish. you can use rubbing alcohol to remove the left over residue.

You might want to leave them on so the paint on the palm rest doesn't fade as quickly.

If it does fade wouldn't you want it to all fade evenly by taking the stickers off now?

It would look hilarious where the stickers were, more ridiculous then leaving the stickers there.
