ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
There was that HControl hack floating around and this has been discussed on several occasions in the past, but it hadn't been updated since something like 2005.
Bottom line is that there isn't really a good way to freely re-program them to launch or activate the feature of your choice - it's just a media thing Asus built into the W3 series. Nothing new for it, but the W3 has been EOL for almost 18 months and Asus didn't build the buttons into any of the more recent systems so you're going to be stuck with having it work just where it does now.... -
Try this: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=150016
And make sure you're running a "newish" version of the ATK0100 drivers.
These ones work fine with my W3J: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/Ot...ers/Asus-ATK0100-ACPI-Utility-104321561.shtml
