There's the thing you can slide that says OD on it, and the dvd drive on the bottom has a tab looking thing that says CD/DVD, I tried to put pressure on it but it doesn't come out even when I have the switch slid to the other side. I don't wanna break it! I just wanna put in my OD battery =(

    Thanks :)

There's a slide lock under the system - slide it over - then just pull the drive straight out with some force..... like you said... but you put some power behind it. I know you don't want to break it, but there's a difference between not breaking it and babying it..... PULL OUT.

make sure you hold that slide lock to the unlocked position when you're pulling it out.

I think most people just don't give it the pull they really need to. Do it once and you'll think it's easier every time... you just need to know how much pressure to put on it. Remember, the goal is for it to stay in there when it's in there... so it's going to be tight - but you can't break anything as long as you pull the slide lock out of the way and hold it there.

so the slide lock needs to be kept at the unlocked side (with force) and THEN i need to pull the OD dvd drive with force? I swear it feels like its going to snap :(

Well, if it came out that easily, then you'd feel like it'll just pop out randomly :p

No, not too much force. The slide lock does need to be kept at the unlocked side and you need to pull the swappable drive while pressing at the handle.

Once you get it out that first time - it won't seem like it needs that much force the next time..... you're just preoccupied with breaking it and it's making it seem a lot more difficult than it really is.

I just want to say that PROPortable is 999999% correct. Once I got it out, I put it back it just to try again, its a billion times easier after the first time.
