    one more dumb question... it seems my Fn+volume keys (f10-f12) arent working... do i need to install a driver for that from the asus cd?

    You need to either update with the ATKOSD drivers on the CD or get them from the Asus website(us VBI owners have a site for drivers ;))

    i had the same problem but how i fixed it is i simply went into MSCONFIG (Start-Run) and went to the STARTUP tab and made sure HControl.exe was checked...allowing that application to run when i startup my laptop...and ever since then...ive had no problems with my function keys...hope this works
