Is the CD Access light above the escape key suppose to light up or blink when a CD is being read by the drive?

Or is this only for the Audio DJ feature while the laptop is powered off?

The user's manual clearly states that this light comes on when the optical drive is accessed. However, it doesn't work on my W3A under normal operation - the drive access light at the front also indicates optical drive access.

This is why I wondered.. the manual states this, but the light does not come on.

Anyone else have this problem as well?

I think that light comes on when you use AudioDJ.
    Give it a shot.

Yes, the light above the escapse key is only for AudioDJ -- it's not an indicator for the drive, but for the program. The amber light on the drive itself indicates whenever the drive is active for any reason.

OK, thanks.. the W3V manual is a little misleading, but nonetheless it's no big deal.
