My paint is begining to chip around the edge of my monitor especially where the side buttons are located. This is due to the fact that the buttons hit the edge of the monitor causing the paint to chipany solutions?

Pretty much none - unless you have a steady hand and is a pro at painting, or whatever, I wouldn't paint it myself, beccause I KNOW I'll just make it worse
Plus, it's laptop - it goes through wear and tear, its a machine, its a tool...
I know, I know, it makes you feel sad inside, but it also does that to me..

Yeah I have notice the paint chipping too. I have always transported my laptop in my zeroshock sleeve too.

Do you have a piece of microfiber cloth between the keyboard and the lcd? That might help...

Get a ShaggyMac clothe, mines is awesome, doubles as a LCD screen cleaner and prtects the screen and surrounding area when laptop is closed
