On my W3V there is only one vent on the right of the notebook, however in some manuals they had it pictures where there were a couple vents underneath the computer as well on some of those panels like under the CPU and stuff. I was wondering do they make those panels with the vents? wouldnt it be better if there was more ventalation?

My Z63A is the same way, just the front vents, the manual shows some under the HD and CPU.

What gives? Justin? Geared dude? Startech guy? - anybody?

I'm taking an educated guess and I believe that the logic is that open (more/larger) air vents prevents air from streaming through the laptop, where as closed (less/smaller) promotes air streaming. Air streaming through the laptop would be a more efficient cooling method.
