Well I FINALLY ordered and took delivery today of my W3V...

lets just say it's lived up to all the hype!

OK.. question, when playing DVDs, the volume is soft.. really soft, as opposed to playing MP3s, the volume is fairly crisp and loud.

Anyone else notice this as well?

    This is a well-discussed problem.

You can make some enhancement to the audio volume by going into the Realtek sound effects (double-click on the icon on the Windows taskbar), raising the audio volumes in the equaliser and enabling the equaliser by clicking the button in the middle of the control at the right side so that it turns from grey to green (this step has caught out many people - the equaliser is not enabled by default).

Yeah, already done that, plus adjusted every other volume indicator to max... oh well I have my digital logitech speakers I can hook up whenever I need that extra oomph :)

    Thanks.

Ry installing the very latest version of Win DVD as this improves the sound on DVD and all other sounds
