Has anyone tried ATIs S-Video to component or VGA to component connectors on their W3V? From the ATI Mobility X600 site:

I am hoping that either the VGA or S-Video supports this. If anyone has any experience with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Just to share - I have tried the ATI 7-pin->component adapter and the ATI VGA->component adapter and niether appears to work. The 7-pin adapter gives only a black and white non HD picture and the VGA adpater gives a horribly distorted image. Powerstrip does not help. So I guess us W3V users are out of luck unless we spend the money for a transcoder.
