For my W3v, I use NHC to put the computer on dynamic switching on AC mode, and Max Battery when on battery. My steps for custom dynamic switching are:
    6 .716
    8 .764
    9 .812
    10 .860
    11 .892
    12 .956
    13 1.052
    14 1.084

the above has proven to be stable for my computer. As for the HD settings, I left mine at default and w/o spin down (128); any1 know if adjusting for max performance gives a significant increase in speed? As far as the GPU goes, I didn't set mine through NHC, but through Powerplay (can be found in ATI driver settings). Adjusted for optimal battery life on both high and low. I get above 3 hours for non-gaming use.

I aso use dynamic switching mode and Max Battery. My steps are:

    6 .700
    8 .780
    9 .828
    10 .860
    11 .892
    12 .956
    13 .972
    14 1.004

    ATI clocked down at 300/175.

With these settings and screen brightness down between 50-75%, I can get 4:15 on battery with wireless on, constant websurfing/downloading, and several high-demand programs like Photoshop and InDesign open.

With any undervolting it's best to start a little high and then adjust down step-by-step until you reach an instability, then go back up. That way you know you're at the lowest stable voltage, but you only hit instability and have to reboot once.
