    Hi,

I just want to know your opinion about the two laptops above. My friends had asked me the question, which of these laptops has better performances (i.e battery, GPU and others). Just because I have experienced W3V, I would say W3V gets my vote. :D

    Any opinion?

If it's because they're considering the W3v, strongly suggest the W3j because of the modest price difference vs. the performance premium with the later.

I guess I'd have to say the Z71v has the potential to be more powerful when max configured.

I'm speculating based strictly on the numbers - you can get a better proc. and gfx card in the Z71v. Battery life I would figure goes to the W3v b/c of the smaller screen size - plus you can run the 2nd battery.

They're pretty different offerings - all things considered I'd rather have the W3v between the two.

I'm not sure if the W3V has an manual dip switch for the FSB, but if you can get a hold of an Intel Pentium M running with a 400MHz FSB Processor, you can overclock it to 2.13GHz effectively on the Z71A or V.

the z71v outperforms the w3v...however like TheUndertow said, the w3j is replacing the w3v and is more powerful than both the w3v and z71v.
