I dropped my W3V yesterday and now it won't charge. The female plug on the motherboard is apparently damaged. It cost over $500 with shipping for a new motherboard, etc. Coming up on 3 YRS old so not worth it.

Any one seen online details on stripping this beast down. the area is behind the hindge so it looks like a complete disassemble to resolder or replace the plug.

AC adapter plug is not soldered onto the mainboard, so if the plug is damaged, it will be an easy replacement.

Here is the link for the AC/DC Board from the Asus Estore. It's only $10.
