So i've had my W3V for about 4 months now, and now it begins to give me grief. After moving into my dorm and setting up the wireless router that I had had at home, I used it fine for about two days then hell broke loose. First if I would leave the laptop on there would still be a wireless connection but it could not download anything off the internet. I would reboot and the problem would be fixed. Then the little button on the side of the W3V which controls whether the wireless function is on or not decided not to work, so i tried to uninstall everything that had to do with the wireless, the reinstalled most of the W3V CD.
It worked for about an hour and the problem came back, the button was not functioning. Does anyone know how I can get this problem to go away because it is driving me nuts!

edit: oh yea, and now when I try to press the wireless button it gives this message "Unable to load the INTEL Muroc API, This function is needed to install the Intel ProSet Utility"

I'd remove all the WiFi stuff and install the latest software from Intel.

You might just have some corrupt drivers. See if you have a disk that came with the computer which has all the drivers in it. Otherwise I know that asus has them to download on the support section of their website. Reinstalling the drivers should do the trick.

Intel 2915ABG/2200BG Wireless Lan Driver and Application WinXP/2K
