This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi I am looking to purchace one of these computers for music production. They seem pretty even power wise but am leaning towards the W3V, but am very worried about these heat issues i keep hearing about. I'll be using it to run some pretty intensive sound design software and would like to be able to work with it in my lap (on some occasions).

    Is the heat going to be an issue?? Is it comming from the cpu or hard drive?? Any other sugguestions as to why i should go for one or the other would be helpful.
