Buy it from Holland. Its almost 200 euros cheaper from there. I bought mine from www.computerpirates.com and it cost 1600€.

It may be slightly cheaper, but note that the version sold in Holland only comes with 512MB RAM and a 80GB hard drive (5400rpm), whereas the U.K version comes with 1Gb RAM and a 100GB (4200rpm) hard drive ;)

Depends what your priorities are really, but I would rather buy from a retailer in my home country than import for future support.

I ordered mine from www.asuslaptop.co.uk but like almost all the other retailers in the U.K (and U.S) they are currently out of stock and the next shipment should arrive somewhen next week, it'd better do anyway. I don't think I can wait much longer!

The reason not to buy in germany:
    1. It's not available here
    2. I m sort of a english typer, so i dun wan to get the german keyboard(the y key is place in the z key slot and vice versa). Prefer UK/US keyboard more.

1600€ sounds like a good deal. Thx!

I have had a hell of a lot of trouble, with asuslaptop.co.uk they had a 'glitch' which meant they couldnt collect my payment (after I had the laptop I might add), after which they have called me for 4 days demanding that I pay them again, but the money technically was and wasnt in my account due to the way debit cards work so I have had to wait for that money to come back to me, now it has and they havent called me to put it right and Im not going to call them, the joke being on them because Im leaving the country for a year in July, free laptop, yays.

I had a payment problem with asuslaptop. I paid by bank transfer, but instead of taking three working days for them to confirm the payment it took a week. At which point it was out of stock.
