Is anyone running this game on their W3j? I have a first gen. one (1.8 ghz, or is it the T2500 2.0G? Don't recall) but am a bit wary about installing. The minimum recs for LotR are 1.8G CPU.

    Can anyone help me out?

The minimum specs are a guideline on what you need to play the game well. You won't do any harm installing it and running it, though it may not run very well.

It'll be fine. I played the beta with mines, ran great at mid settings.

I believe the W3J comes with a dual core CPU, so the 1.8Ghz requirement is much useless.

Processor wise you'll be fine, my 2ghz core 2 duo runs it fine. I've found this game is pretty dependent on ram so 2gig is highly recommended.

I play actively on my original G1 and get playable fps at 1680x1050 medium no AA/AF. Keep in mind this is on an XP PRO machine so I don't know how much fps you may lose with Vista if you have it.
