Would someone with a W3v mind posting a 3D Mark01 benchmark here? That would be great.

Already posted in another thread... no offense, but try to look around before asking questions... sometimes it just overloads the forum with unneeded threads.
Thanks,
Justin

People often take the "Search" button for granted... it's really more useful than we think it is [

I did search.... When you search for W3v you get 7 pages. I've looked through all the pages and don't see anything on benchmark scores in the topics of any of them. I don't feel like looking through all the pages of replys to those 7 pages of topics. Because that is A LOT of pages...
If you know of a thread on these scores can you please give a link to the thread?

Uhm... Not to be rude or anything, but you guys go on rants about not searching the forum properly and then gives results for 3DMark03 and 3DMark05 when what he asked for was *3DMark01* (I'm assuming he ment 3DMark2001 SE). Can't find that posted anywhere.
Anyways: Don't know about the W3V, but a W3N scored 10674 with an 1.7 Dothan. Unless Asus have clocked the X600 in the W3V higher than the 9700 in the W3N I'd bet that the W3V will be graphics limited enough so that the increased system performance from the newer chipset and faster bus won't significally alter the result. -

As another comparison, I have just measured a 3DMark2001 SE score of 4039 for W3A (with 1.86GHz CPU, 1280MB RAM and Intel integrated graphics).

You're right..... he was looking for 3d mark01...... well given the 03 and 05 scores, he should be able to do through their conversion tables figure out what score he would have gotten in 01.... but I was't about to do the searching for him.... if he had looked, he would have said.. he found 03 and 05 scores, but what's that translate to in 01? Or something like that.
Either way..... I grabbed what I could.
Thanks,
Justin

bugmenot,
John Ratsey,
Thumbs up. That's what I was looking for.
eightone,
You touched on the search in threads vs. posts. Well, you said it all. There were 7 pages of threads. Go figure how many pages that translates into. I did the ctrl + F on those 7 pages - nothing on benchmarks there. That means I would have to go through, what, 30 - 50 pages of posts.... Feel the pain yet?
You are so right on the missing PM and universal search function..
proportable,
Like I said... I did look. I found the 03 and 05 scores. Wasn't looking for them.
Converting the scores... We are talking DirectX 8.1 vs. DirectX 9 benchmarking here. There are a ton of factors to take into consideration there. Also, I wasn't really looking for anyone's guess but an accurate number.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your reply. But I was looking for 3DMark01 SE.
